EFISHient Protein E-Fishient Protein was born out as joint venture between BioMeat FoodTech and the Volcani Institute of Israel. It develops cultivated fish meat to find a sustainable solution for the demand of fish meat and the ecological imbalance that is created from over-fishing. The process begins by extracting cell samples from real fish and then integrated into cell banks which can be used to create tissues, fat cells, and muscle cells to produce cultured fish.
