My innovation is improving the food system in the sense that we make animal protein available for consumption in the society, thereby reducing the problem of malnutrition. The feathers and offals can be used in production of feed, the waste from the poultry birds can be fermented to produce maggot meal which can be fed to fishes as supplement, which in turn reduces cost.
Dead fishes can be dried, crushed and mixed with the fowl feed to improve growth and calcium deficiency etc.
fishes provide omega 3 which is good for the skin, eye, heart and it’s rich in polysaccharides. Chicken provides white meat and eggs which is healthy for weight loss, good for those with diabetes or those with high cholesterol level.
We don’t only improve food system but also the healthy living of people in the society.
