Chiza Health was founded in 2022 when a medic and a software engineer came together and realised gaps in the health sector in Kenya, following COVID-19. Chiza health identified three problems; poor locum-based employment structures for medics, dysfunctional and poor quality of homecare and finally preference of curative medicine over preventive medicine, increasing morbidity and mortality rates for non-communicable diseases. The aim is to solve the complex healthcare puzzles for medics, facilities and patients by leveraging technology solutions. . From proper locum staff scheduling to personalized and goal-driven homecare and promotion of preventive health care.
