Through an acquisition of a closing down factory in 2018, Dulara – first generation entrepreneur with a lifelong passion to share authentic, premium Ceylon products with the world – partnered with Altaf – coconut enthusiast and plantation owner – and built the business from shipping small pallet shipments in 2018 to sending several containers per month by 2024. Ceylon Exports & Trading manufactures and exports a range of edible coconut products including their recent innovation Nootz – world’s first coconut smoothie brand. The company exports to over 20 countries and has the certifications ISO22000, EU Organic, USDA Organic, JAS, HALAL and SMETA.
