Under the current standard, midwives have to feel for contractions by placing their hands on the mother’s abdomen for 10 minutes and then filling out the contraction frequency and duration data on the partograph. For inefficient contractions they have to give oxytocin drip to stimulate the uterus. The number of drip which is given to the mother is adjusted manually. Because there are a limited number of midwives this procedures are frequently skipped. This leads to hyper stimulation and uterus rupture. This product has a great role in addressing the problem of large number of society by providing a digital device that is able to monitor the parameters(frequency, duration ,pressure during and oxytocin drip) during labour.
The most creative part of the product it has a plat form to count the IV drip(Oxytocin drug delivered to the mother to stimulate labour) and the number of contraction simultaneously. The current available products do not have this state of performance.
