Asociación Nacional de Sordos de Guatemala, ONG Helping people with hearing and oral disabilities

Since its inception this NGO has provided free health services to both people with hearing and oral disabilities and their families, who are of limited economic resources, promoting their integration to improve their level of preparation, opportunities, and lifestyle so that they are the promoters of their own development. Carries out activities aimed at integral health: individual, family and community, focused not only on the harm but also on the risks. It encompasses the facets of prevention, promotion, care, and rehabilitation. All the activities carried out are completely free and are based on the needs of the patient with hearing and oral disabilities.

Its radius of action specifically covers the departments of: Alta Verapaz, Baja Verapaz, Chimaltenango, Escuintla, Retalhuleu, San Marcos, Santa Rosa, Quetzaltenango, Suchitepéquez, and the capital city.
