AMPA with the Amazon Cooperative of Voluntary and Community Conservation-COOPERAMAZ, is working to give financial sustainability to the communities that conserve forests on a voluntary basis in the Peruvian Amazon, promoting business models that generate greater profitability for the populations involved so that they can reduce their GHG emissions either by deforestation or organic waste. Implementing 2 initiatives: a) Gastronomy with Sabor a Conservación; where it seeks to develop biodiversity value chains (water, sustainable fisheries, honey bee, fungi); and b) Cadenas de Valor y Servicios Ecosystemas, where it seeks to stabilize the conventional chains, to improve their productivity and profitability through productive diversification, circular economy (full use and value by by-products) and remuneration for ecosystem services (quinoa, cocoa, coffee, coconut, aquaculture). Forests as sustainable food producers.
