Cooperative company called AGRO-ECO SERVICES specializes in the production of organic fertilizers for soil fertilization, and fly larvae (Blak Soldier Fly and Musca domestica) to feed fish and poultry; was created in Benin in August 2018 by five (05) young graduates from the University of Abomey-Calavi, including three (03) men and two (02) women.
The organic fertilizers produced by our company will be used for soil fertilization in cereal farms and vegetable gardens. This will enable farmers to reduce the risk of dropping the use of chemical fertilizers that destroy soil structure and contribute to the long-term decline of their fertility in Africa.
Fly larvae (Asticots) from the production of fertilizers will be used to substitute fishmeal used as a dietary supplement in poultry feed. The potential of our business is that flies are used to produce organic fertilizers and larvae in a fifteen (15) day cycle.
