Agriculture Reduction of food wastage in agriculture

The innovation is on cassava processing into Gari as one of the most available food in Africa and beyound. The process involves the removal of cyanide from cassava through fermentation and addition of additive ( palm oil). The cyanide content in cassava is poisonous to both human and animal.
The grater is fabricated with stainless steel inorder to avoid corrosion and poison.
Inorder to generate zero waste, the cassava peels is washed, milled, fried a bit and then sun dried for animal feed.
The used of soak-away channel is taken into consideration to avoid pollution of water or environment.
The food (Gari) is majorly consumed by larger population as one of the ready – to- eat food.
