Objective: To produce and sell fresh milk and high-quality meat locally in Abomey-Calavi and the surrounding area.

2. Identified Problem
1. Shortage of local fresh milk: Most of the milk consumed in Benin is imported in powder form.
2. Inconsistent meat quality: Traditional slaughter methods, poor traceability.
3. High demand: Consumers, restaurants, and local dairies are seeking fresh, healthy products available year-round.

3. Proposed solution
A modern semi-intensive livestock operation featuring:
1. Improved breeds: Gyr, Montbéliarde, or dairy crossbreeds for milk. Borgou and Azawak for meat.
2. Controlled feeding: Cultivated forage + supplements + automatic waterers.
3. Hygiene & Health: Mechanical milking, clean housing, veterinary care, vaccination.
4. Simple processing: Fresh milk, yogurt, local cheese. Vacuum-packed meat.
