
Afrikapu comes from the phrase “My African Kikapu” which means my African Shopping basket. Afrikapu is a social-enterprise that sells African Handmade products made by marginalized women and youth in Africa – to the rest of the world in a structured, profitable and sustainable way.
Our model combines a digital platform and front-line field officers to educate and train women and youth micro entrepreneurs on how to develop and position their brands to meet international standards then, Afrikapu provides them with linkages to global markets through an e-commerce platform.”
