Soil degradation and crop intoxication cause about 25 to 50 percent of losses in agriculture and affect more than 75 percent of farmers worldwide.
We have therefore developed a water hyacinth-based organic fertilizer that does not deplete the soil or contaminate crops and provides a return similar to what is achieved with imported chemical fertilizers.
Sub-Saharan Africa with about 175 million farmers has a huge potential market of more than $ 35 billion and we are targeting only 20% of this market with our organic fertilizer, the prototype of which is already working wonders for many farmers.
