Cassava, in different forms is one of the most popular and widely consumed food crops in Africa. Cassava has been a major raw material for industrial and household use, it is largely demanded for the production of starch, bio-ethanol, cosmetic and pharmaceutical products. It is also used for household products like Garri (cassava powder flakes), Fufu (Cassava-Meal).
