Mission

The University of Development has the mission of serving Chile as professionals and generating knowledge that is useful and helps the country in its needs and challenges of the 21st century. For this, the University deploys all its academic work in close collaboration with the public and private sector, promoting the values of freedom, diversity and fostering concern for public issues.

THE UDD BUSCA:

• Formar professionals who, in addition to the mastery of their discipline, are characterized by being entrepreneurial and innovative, committed to society and public issues, for having a global vision and a professional approach that values and integrates looks of different disciplines.
• Generate, disseminate and transfer knowledge with the aim of understanding, explaining and proposing solutions to complex problems in the country and society.
• Promoting a vision of teaching innovation for the transformation of teaching and learning processes in the formation of new generations.

The University of Development will consolidate itself as one of the best in Chile, highlighting for its permanent pursuit of academic innovation, actively inserting itself into Chilean and global society through joint work with national and international actors and addressing challenges with a global perspective, in order to train those who will lead the development of our country and to create knowledge that impacts and generates value.
