An international African summit in partnership with Smart Africa

As a member of the Smart Africa Alliance, the Tunisian Government is launching the Afric’Up event in partnership with Smart Africa, international institutions and international Venture Capitals, investors and major digital actors.

Afric’Up becomes an essential meeting place for the main actors of the digital scene in Africa. A place of convergence and exchange which aims to open new horizons, discuss progress, innovation, and entrepreneurship It aims to become a unique digital platform enabling to share the latest technologies in Africa.

Afric’Up will be held on September 24 & 25th, 2019 at the Laico Hotel in Tunis, Tunisia.

It will bring together all African digital actors, investors, incubators, experts, researchers, startups, associations, institutions, representatives of the African diaspora, professional guests from other continents and will celebrate ‘Women digital makers.

2 Days of exceptional events dedicated to innovation, African Tech, entrepreneurship, success stories, and African talents 2 Days oriented and focused on financing startups, networking, exchange of experiences, meetups, “deal rooms”, coaching and mentoring sessions workshops led by speakers with international experience + Indoor/outdoor exhibition + an area for about 100 startups who exhibit + High-level conferences.

This year, Afric’Up aims to create an entrepreneurial dynamic, to encourage collaborations, exchanges in order to promote skills, to bring out the new African digital champions, to promote the development of the ecosystem of entrepreneurship and innovation across the continent, while connecting investors, entrepreneurs, startups and project leaders.

The Tunisian government within the framework of the mission entrusted to it by Smart Africa, organize Afric’Up, a high-level gathering of all actors in African and global digital sector where Ministers, funders, investors, multinationals, incubators, experts and startups will meet in order to promote investment, business, entrepreneurship and job creation.

This year’s Afric’Up theme is « Smart City & Open innovation in Africa, what opportunities for startups? »
