Created in 2017 in Aix-Marseille, the new hub for emerging innovations between Europe and Africa, EMERGING Valley is the international summit that attracts investors, startups and African and emerging digital ecosystems to Provence who want to strengthen their attractiveness internationally, develop their business relationships and accelerate their impact on a global scale.

 

A real bridge between African and European Tech, Emerging Valley is a unique meeting place for:

  • Discovering new areas of innovation emerging in the South;
  • Explore and invest in the digital solutions of tomorrow by connecting with the champions of African tech;
  • Co-construct strategies for scaling up between Africa, the Mediterranean and Europe.

In 2019, EMERGING Valley is showcasing digital relations between Europe and Africa through a strategic partnership with the European Commission which aims to bring together and build bridges between the digital ecosystems of the European Union and those of ‘Africa.

The 2018 edition of EMERGING Valley brought together, in Marseille and at the camp, more than 1,000 participants during 2 conference days. The event also attracted over 100 African startups from Tech4Good, 40 investors and 35 African incubators in close synergy with the “Social and Inclusive Business Camp” and the French Development Agency – both strategic partners of EMERGING Valley.
