6 years after the first RiseUp Summit took place, RiseUp maintains its position as the organizer of MENA’s largest and most impactful entrepreneurship event.
Since then, we have evolved into a dynamic platform with multiple channels connecting startups to relevant resources in the MENA region and beyond. RiseUp is driven by an objective to develop the local and regional startup ecosystem, and connect startups to 7 main resources they need to develop their business: Knowhow, Funding, Exposure, Marketplace, Inspiration, Talent and Tools.

The summit is our three-day, one-stop-shop, entrepreneurship marathon! Over the years, we promised that the world would come to Cairo, and thanks to an incredible level of commitment from our tireless team and phenomenal partners, we deliver.

PITCH BY THE PYRAMIDS
This year, we’re putting together the largest startup competition ever held in MENA, Pitch by the Pyramids. The competition will launch with qualifying rounds in 6 cities around MENA, with the final event taking place at the Great Pyramids of Giza in November. The competition will also provide the startups with relevant workshops, mentorship and coaching that would help them develop as individuals and as an entity.
