RECON Colombia

We are a Colombian, non-profit organization   that identifies, inspires, connects and makes stronger social enterprises that transform realities and impact the sustainable economic and social development of vulnerable communities.

Our work is aligned with the vision of the Sustainable Development Goals and we work for the most vulnerable communities in the country, we apply a territorial, ethnic, and gender approach.

Our Mission

Identify, inspire, connect and strengthen entrepreneurship and social innovation initiatives for the purpose of contributing to the generation of opportunities for the transformation of social realities and the development of communities, to make them sustainable and to be able to build a different future.

We have the support with the Government of Sweden, the United Nations Development Programme UNDP and the United States Agency for International Development USAID.

Our Vision

To be recognized for the year 2022 as the leading organization to visit, support and strengthen projects of entrepreneurship and social innovation, in addition to be the first leading digital platform in social entrepreneurship in Colombia and one of the most important in Latin America.

How and why do we do it?

We identify initiatives through our web pages, www.reconcolombia.org and through the crowdfunding platform www.reconfunding.com additional to it, We carry out calls for and carry out a process of visibility, support and strengthening of social entrepreneurship projects to make them sustainable.

RECON calls

Through calls, RECON identifies social enterprises that create opportunities and transform realities in Colombia, the best ones are recognized with seed capital and processes of strengthening.
