Re-defining agriculture and food systems

Lagos State Ministry of Agriculture and Food Systems has the ministerial responsibility of implementing the State Government‘s Development Policy on Agriculture. This Policy aims at facilitating sustainable food production, poverty reduction and job creation through several agricultural projects and programmes.

The Ministry has six technical, two supportive Departments and two supportive Units, four Extra Ministerial Agencies, two donor assisted projects, as well as two vocational training schools through which it carries out its specific mandates.
