About

The Institute of Mining Engineers of Peru (IIMP) was founded on November 26, 1943, by the noble initiative of a group of mining engineers, to build itself as one of the most important organizations of the Peruvian mining sector, basing its success and prestige on the technical contribution delivered over seven decades.

Since then, the IIMP has proposed to be the leading institution that integrates the best professionals in the middle to address the great challenges and challenges facing the mining industry, in a constantly changing environment.

Mission

Our mission is to contribute to the professional growth of our Associates, through the dissemination of knowledge of high academic level, technological innovation and the promotion of responsible practices, punctual for the strengthening of the mining sector.

Vision

Our vision aims to consolidate us as the promoter of the advances and achievements of the mining industry, committed mainly to the development of the country.

Sectionals (IIMP)

In order to decentralize the activities of the institution and involve the students and Professionals from other regions of the country, the Institute of Mining Engineers of Peru (IIMP) has decentralized headquarters in Arequipa, Ayacucho, Cajamarca, Cusco, Chiclayo, Huaraz, Trujillo and Puno.

Board of Directors

The Board of Directors of the Institute of Mining Engineers of Peru (IIMP), which will govern the organization’s destinations in the period April 2022-April 2024, is comprised of the following professionals:
