Eco Connect

INCO is running a successful entrepreneurship program Eco Connect in the Wester Cape through its South African venture Igalelo. Eco Connect offers aspiring entrepreneurs from Cape Town’s townships an opportunity to set up a business of their own. The second edition of Eco Connect started in August 2016 and finishes in August 2017. 

Eco Connect follows a 12 month pre-incubation methodology that combines four major elements: 

• Training: we are providing the entrepreneurs with workshops on key business and management skills 

• Mentoring: we are providing the participants with one on one follow-up and experts 

• Networking: we are giving the participants access to local networking events and connecting them to potential partners or funders. 

• Accelerating: we are providing the entrepreneurs with business support and development tools 

Our main goals are to promote the entrepreneurship culture & create businesses and job opportunities within local communities. Our expectation is at once demanding and feasible: that each participants founds or co-creates a sustainable business by the end of the program.
