Africa Agtech Startup Showcase 2023

Innovating for a Greener and More Productive African Agriculture

Are you an Agtech entrepreneur in Africa and do you have a solution to any problem facing the
agricultural sector? The International Fertilizer Association and Mohammed VI Polytechnic University is currently accepting applications from entrepreneurs who are providing innovative solutions that aim to improve crop yields, soil health and facilitate access to markets.

Selected startups will receive cash prize of Euro 20,000 and will showcase their innovations at the IFA Annual Conference.

Eligibility

  • The startup already has a minimum viable product.
  • The startup has received less than € 20 million in funding since its establishment from external sources and is less than 10 years old.
  • The startup provides an innovative solution to improve crop yield and quality, improve soil health, improve nutrient management performance, or facilitate market access.
  • The product or service is operational or has been demonstrated.
  • The startup is already active on the African continent or has strong potential to solve one of the
    continent’s agricultural challenges.
