ID4D, an initiative of the World Bank Group, will be hosting a Solveathon on January 31st from 9:00am to 1:30pm for the inaugural Mission Billion Challenge powered by MIT Solve.
Solveathons are highly interactive design workshops aimed at developing and improving great solutions to global challenges – you will meet new people, work on big ideas, and be part of a global community.
This event will be facilitated by MIT Solve staff and focus on refining ideas from the Cape Town community in response to the Mission Billion Challenge, which addresses: How can digital identification systems in developing countries be better designed or adapted to protect people’s privacy and empower them with greater control over their personal data?
You do not need to be working on an idea to participate – we would love to have your skills and expertise in the room to improve others’ solutions!
