About the demo day

It’s time to mark your calendars for the finale of the Smart Cities Innovation Program – the SCIP Demo Day in Kigali.

After the 9 months of participating in the SCIP acceleration journey and with a lot of commitment, training, and mentoring, the SCIP founders grew their ventures strengthening their organizations and securing strategic partnerships and business deals scaling their products and services. We are excited to see their growth and look forward to celebrating their achievements with you at the SCIP Demo Day, where these driven entrepreneurs present their innovative solutions to you to promote more partnerships and investment deals.

The SCIP Demo Day will be a hybrid event – taking place virtually and in person in Kigali – and will be held on 20th June between 3-9 pm. The event will be closed by an exclusive reception to celebrate and network with our founders, partners, and supporters.

For those attending the Commonwealth Head of Government Meeting (CHOGM) or the Commonwealth Business Forum (CBF), the SCIP Demo Day is timed as an easily accessible side event on the night before official events kick-off and in a convenient location not far from major hotels in Kigali.
