FATE Foundation

Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development

FATE Foundation is a non-profit private-sector led organisation created in March 2000 to tackle the high rate of unemployment and poverty in Nigeria by harnessing the strong entrepreneurial culture of Nigerians particularly youth and providing the knowledge and support required to fully explore their innovative potential. Our belief is that enabling sustainable entrepreneurship initiatives is the foundation required to achieve our potentials as a country and also sustainably address key socio-economic challenges.

We were founded by Fola Adeola (Co-Founder & Pioneer MD/CEO, GTBank) with the support of other private sector leaders and through a volunteer-driven model and partnership with local and international organisations we help to promote entrepreneurship and provide targeted support to scale businesses.
