For this EDS edition, we talk about tax incentives for the Nigerian startup
Is the current tax regime in Nigeria realistic for startups?
Ecosystem Dialogue Series are monthly sit-downs organised by Ventures Platform between the government and startups to discuss how government can create a favourable environment for startups to thrive.
On the 28th of September, Representatives from Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC), Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) and Federal Ministry of Trade and Investments (FMTI) will join us in an in depth discussion on taxes and how the government can create an enabling tax environment for startups.
We will discuss taxation and how it affects the startup community. You will also get the opportunity to recommend tax incentives you believe will be beneficial to the startup community.
