Mission

The CERPE seeks to contribute, through study and action in the field of education, to the process of integral transformation of the country, with a view to building a more just and caring society, assuming as a priority the development of policies for the educational area of the Society of Jesus in Venezuela. As a member of the Latin American Federation of Jesuit Colleges (FLACSI), the CERPE also shares its commitment of the Ignatian Apostolic Body to the service of educational and social transformation in the region.

Objectives

• Promote and support processes for the dissemination of information, reflection and action in the field of education, in order to contribute to the formulation of proposals for policies, programs and projects that contribute to the improvement of education in Venezuela and Latin America.
• Promoting the achievement of the objectives of the Plan Apostolic of the Province of Venezuela collaborating in the consolidation of the works of the educational area from his particular identity and mission, the formation of his staff, the articulation of the area at the national level and his active integration in the dynamics of the Latin American networks of the Society of Jesus.
• To contribute to the purposes of the Association of Jesuit Colleges of Venezuela (ACSI) promoting spaces and projects that encourage conditions to embody the characteristics of the Education of the Society of Jesus, favor the formation of the staff and apply the Pedagogy Ignaciana.
