The Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (CTA), in partnership with the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA), and the OCP Africa, and with the contribution of the World Bank, FAO, Greentec Capital and other partners, launched Pitch AgriHack 2019.
The Aim of the program is to support the growth of business services offered by young e-agriculture startups as well as to contribute to accelerating the adoption of innovations for stronger productivity in the agrifood sector.
The competition is open to both male and female founders and co-founders of startups offering digital services to the agricultural sector. Applicants must be aged between 18 and 35 years old.
The final will be held in Accra (Ghana) in the framework of the 2019 edition of the African Green Revolution Forum (AGRF 2019) in September 2019.
Winning startups will receive from CTA and its partners up to Euros 15,000 in cash (grant) to advance their services, and additional benefits (capacity building, business matchmaking, facilitation of access to investment, promotion, etc.).
