History
The BCIE emerged as the financial arm of Central America’s integration and development. being a Sui Generis organism either because of the amplitude of fields in which it has competence or it can develop its operations, as for its object and founding principles. From that date, until then, the BCIE has had the direction of visionary people who with their leadership have realized the purposes for which the BCIE was created.
