Posits for $70,000 non-refundable to expand to Uruguay

seeks to identify, attract, accelerate and finance innovative ventures with growth potential from abroad that seek to scale from Uruguay to the world.

This program aims to support the development of innovative new foreign companies in Uruguay that generate quality employment, sales in the domestic market and/or generate exports; as well as the transfer of knowledge and strengthening of the national innovative entrepreneurial ecosystem.

To achieve these goals, the National Agency for Research and Innovation has developed an acceleration and investment program that caters to specific needs to accompany the objectives of future beneficiaries.

WHAT DO WE OFFER?

NON-REFUNDABLE SUPPORT: Projects up to USD 100,000, where ANII will fund up to USD 70,000

MENTHACTO AND ADVICE: As well as contact with local and regional investors
A COUNTRY THAT HAS ALL: Facilitation for foreign companies, political and financial stability, infrastructure and security.

Program stages

Pre acceleration

Online workshops that include relevant topics to install your company in Uruguay. This stage ends with a presentation in “elevator pitch” format to the evaluation committee and investors (local and regional linked to ANII)

Acceleration

For the commercial exploration or development of operations of the enterprise in Uruguay. The enterprises that arrive at this stage receive a financing of up to USD 70,000 from ANII (in non-refundable support mode), corresponding to 70% of the project’s recognizable cost (the enterprises must contribute at least 30% remaining).
