Program overview

The 500 Egypt Seed Bootcamp is a unique 1-week intensive program for early-stage / seed-stage startups in Egypt in the tech and innovation ecosystem.

Batch 1 of the program will welcome up to 25 startups who are keen to learn, in a bootcamp style week, about finding product market fit, customer identification and acquisition, fundraising, and more.

The program will take place in person in Cairo.

Timeline

24 NOV’22 – 22 JAN’23 — Application Process

Companies will go through the 3-phased selection process including an application form, submission of a short video, and interview with 500’s team. At each phase, we will shortlist companies. A response with a decision will be sent before the launch in February 2023.

26 FEB ’23 – 2 MAR ’23 — Seed Bootcamp Batch 1

25 selected startups will work directly with global industry and/or topical experts through hands-on workshops and 1:1 office hours.

2 MAR ’23 — Graduation Day

Startups will present the insights of Bootcamp in the format of a 2-min presentation to ITIDA and 500 representatives.

Eligibility criteria

The program is designed for tech startups on the early stage and seed stage that have a working product, demonstrated traction and the necessary team members. However, depending on your industry, team, product, or service, we may select your team as early as the MVP stage.

Startups can earn a certificate upon successfully completing the 500 Egypt Seed Bootcamp.
