The Hub Women of Avenir aims to allow a selection of Gabonese women entrepreneurs to benefit from dedicated support including training, mentoring, and access to finance.
This hub is the materialization of the commitment of WIA and Eramet to create dynamic and innovative ecosystems in Africa through female entrepreneurship.
The Future Women Hub, The first of its kind in Libreville will also be a place to host events to highlight and promote, throughout the year, Gabonese women’s entrepreneurship.
Through this program, we wish to contribute to the development of a community of local innovators, who bring solutions to the many challenges facing Africa, In particular with regard to innovation and new technologies, Fintech, agricultural transformation; and to make business models viable and sustainable.
The Future Women program will take place in phases:
First, a call for applications launched in early May 2022 to all women entrepreneurs
After selecting 30 winners from our first promotion, the program will start with training sessions that will cover technical topics and topics ” Soft skills ” Such as writing a business plan or speaking in public. Women entrepreneurs will also be trained at the entrepreneurial pitch and will receive all the necessary keys to access funding. As a result of this training phase, a selection of winners will be presented to a panel of investors during virtual roadshows and will be accompanied by the introduction of bank financing research. Recipients will have the opportunity to be accompanied by the best experts
Subsequently, Gabonese women entrepreneurs will be connected to a dedicated mentor who will accompany them to support in their projects, with consistency and goodwill.
Throughout the program, women entrepreneurs will also have visibility on social networks in WIA.
The call for applications will run from May 3, 2022, to May 25, 2022 at midnight of Libreville.
