On behalf of The Wharton School, The University of Pennsylvania, and the student organizers of the 26th Annual Wharton Africa Business Forum (WABF), we are honored and excited to inform you that we will be holding our 5th Annual New Venture Competition at this year’s event.
The competition is open to all entrepreneurs with businesses that are using innovation to solve Africa’s challenges and make a positive impact on the continent. Through this link, entrepreneurs can apply for the chance to pitch to a panel of expert judges who will determine the winner of the $10,000 grand prize. Finalists will gain access to resources that will accelerate their venture’s growth including a powerful network of investors, mentors, and coaches.
Applications are due on October 14th and our goal until then is to get the highest quality ventures into the application pool. Please apply and/or circulate this competition within your community if you or anyone you know thinks they have what it takes to win! We look forward to receiving and reviewing the applications!
