Villgro Africa – April Investor Showcase

Villgro Africa is a Health and Life Sciences incubator, offering emerging companies a customised incubation experience to help effectively navigate the African startup ecosystem and scale-up ideas. 

We will be holding an Investor Showcase to provide the opportunity for potential investors to hear the concept, business case, and growth potential of a few emerging businesses in the current Villgro Africa incubation portfolio. These businesses include:

Company A – A Kenyan based company that is leveraging on technology to promote accessible and affordable digital diagnostic Pathology services to the population based in the rural and peri-urban areas in Kenya and the Sub- Saharan Africa. Currently raising a bridge round of USD 750K.

Company B – A Kenyan based company that manufactures and distributes advanced wound care devices and surgical theater textile products with plans to expand its operations throughout East Africa. Currently raising a seed round of USD 500K.

Company C – A Ugandan Healthcare Fintech company focused on providing accessible and affordable healthcare solutions through savings and top-up loans to the uninsured and underinsured population. Currently raising USD 1.3M in debt financing and USD 1M in equity.

Company D – A  Kenyan Health Management Organization focused on providing accessible and affordable healthcare solutions to those at the bottom and near-bottom of the pyramid. They are seeking to raise a pre-Series A round of USD 1M.
