Welcome to the 2026 Transforming African MedTech Conference (TAMC).  Africa’s leading platform bringing together innovators, entrepreneurs, clinicians, policymakers, investors, and ecosystem enablers to shape the future of healthcare innovation on the continent.

We invite MedTech and Biotech startups across Africa to apply and showcase their solutions as part of a growing movement to build integrated, resilient, and scalable health systems powered by innovation.

About TAMC:

The Transforming African MedTech Conference (TAMC) is more than an annual event. It is a catalyst for building a robust and collaborative platform that drives sustainable growth in Africa’s MedTech sector. TAMC provides a space for stakeholders to connect, innovate and advocate for transformative solutions that address the continent’s unique healthcare challenges. By fostering partnership, supporting local innovations and championing policy and regulatory advancements, TAMC is shaping an ecosystem where MedTech practitioners, entrepreneurs and policymakers can work together to create impactful, scalable solutions. The platform’s forward-looking initiatives, including a forthcoming association for Africa MedTech practitioners, aim to streamline collaborations, provide vital resources and ensure the continuous momentum needed to advance healthcare outcomes and economic opportunities across Africa.

Building on previous editions that brought together over 200+ ecosystem stakeholders, TAMC 2026 aims to deepen collaboration across the continent by fostering stronger linkages between innovators, health systems, regulators, investors, and technical partners.

This year’s theme:

“Building a Connected, Competitive, and Transformative African Health Systems Industry”
Through integrated health innovation systems with MedTech at the core

reflects the growing need to move beyond isolated innovations toward system-level integration, local capacity strengthening, and sustainable scale.
