In Zimbabwe the basic meat you can find in every market place is beef, pork, chicken and if you’re lucky goat meat. I want to make an impact in the industry in Zimbabwe and beyond with rabbit meat farming, on average rabbits produces more meat than beef meat industry, it takes 9 months for a cow to give birth to one calf and years for the calf to reach 500 to 600kgs ,but in 9 months it’s takes 3 doar rabbits to produce meat of 600 kgs ready to for the market , in other way it’s taken 10 doar rabbits a period of 3 moths to make 640 kgs of Meat. On a Average one pure breed white newzland can give birth to 8 rabbits kits, in a period of 30 days, then it takes 3 months for each rabbit kits to get to 8 kgs on average, so if you multiply the process by 10 that’s 640 kgs in 3 months. You also sell rabbit urine for fertilizer production and you can use the manure, and the skin and fur can be sold too. So In looking for funding so I can boost my production, already I have pure breeds rabbits
