Yummus Foods International is an asset light food holding that develops plant based (mainly chickpeas) food products with social impact. YFI focuses on reducing poverty and malnutrition in Guatemala through their social impact program called Buy One Help One. Looking to implement responsible supply chains since day 1, YFI sources their chickpeas from small scale farmers in México and are deeply involved in the local promotion and establishment of the unknown chickpea crop in Guatemala. YFI is deeply involved in R&D and Responsable Supply Chains. YFI sells their products in different sales channels, mainly retail, in Guatemala, México, El Salvador and currently expanding to bigger LATAM and USA markets.
