Wontesty Ventures Setup of elevated fish ponds, value addition and marketing of fish

Wontesty Ventures is a business startup that specializes in the setup of recirculating aquaculture fishponds, production, processing/value addition and marketing of fish, and the provision of training/technical support to aquapreneurs in Ghana. Until recently through the use of our innovative fish pond technology, fish farming was seen as only possible in dug out ponds or cages. Value addition to fish was very limited and less innovative with high dependence on marine fish sources. Our intervention has restored hope to the aquaculture sector in Ghana as it makes inland fish production attractive and profitable. In the end, there is more supply of fish to meet the increasing local demand whilst creating sustainable jobs for the youth and vulnerable in the society. Wontesty Ventures believes in “excellence in service” and strives to inculcate this into all its activities to change the narrative in the aquaculture sector.
