Team
We are a multidisciplinary team with different skill sets ranging from Computer scientist,gynecologists and obstetricians,biomedical engineers,business experts and product designers with a combined experience of 40 years.The team has worked together for over 5 years building both medical and consumer devices.But most importantly the team is committed and passionate about reducing maternal and infant mortality.
The team is led by Eng Stephen Tashobya who holds MSc in Data communication and Software Engineering.Building upon his 10 years of experience heading Software Engineering and product development,
Brian leads technology, product development and operations. Brian brings a unique experience gained while pioneering the field of digital health technologies at Me U software plus company limited, where he started, grew and directed a multidisciplinary international team. Brian’s wife first pregnancy was a source of inspiration for the origins of Wekebere.
