Vermi-Farm Initiative LTD Chaning Lives, One Farm at a Time

The Vermi-Farm Initiative provides a holistic solution to empower smallholders with reliable, climate-resilient incomes. First, we have low-cost smart greenhouses called Vermi-Farm DigiShamba, which integrate the Internet of Things into traditional farming practices, enabling precise climate control, automated irrigation, and real-time monitoring of crop health. This innovation empowers farmers with tools to adapt to climate change and maximize crop yields sustainably.

Secondly, in partnership with local registered groups of women and youth, we have the Vermi-Farm Adapt Finance Program. It uses simple USSD mobile technology to offer financial literacy trainings and affordable finance solutions tailored to the needs of local smallholder farmers to access climate-smart technologies and quality products like fertilizers and seeds. By providing access to finance, we break down barriers to entry into modern agricultural practices, fostering economic empowerment within rural communities.
