While air travel is mostly digitalised, bus travel is still 90% offline. And in Latin America, bus travel is 18x times bigger than air travel. Nowadays in Ecuador, the passenger still needs to go to the bus terminal to figure out companies, timetables and price for his desired route. This means time and money lost.
We provide bus passengers with up to date information on schedules and routes, allowing them to book their bus ticket online.
We allied with transport companies that have precarious or non sales technology. We developed an efficient communication process (to be scaled up) to coordinate ticket sales without mistakes or double seats. We provide facilities to locate passengers who get on in the middle of the route, informing the driver and other relevant personnel. Next steps is to build a digital solution which is capable to manage complex data about bus routes, stops, dynamic scheduling, pricing and other business rules so the users can have access to reliable info.
