Un Balón Como Equipaje Latam trip discovering how football changes women's lives

After creating the GOLEES Foundation in Costa Rica, the Spanish Carme Salleras Campo, a social educator and former footballer, intends to travel all of Latin America with (literally) a balloon as luggage. And nothing else. Because that is the best tool for women’s empowerment to go around areas at high social risk, and to work with girls and women in Brazilian favelas, Colombian communes, Argentine villas, with women deprived of liberty, girls in indigenous territory, and all the intersectionalities you can imagine. Because football, it is a universal language and with the power to defend the right of women to play football, but above all to live a life free of violence.
