Umbi Labs is an assistive technology company focusing on speech and language inclusion in underserved African communities. Our flagship product, SoinsAvec, is a speech companion designed for Kenyan children with speech and language impairments.

It enables early self-screening, assistive communication, gamified therapy, and shared care coordination— all optimized for low bandwidth, offline functionality, and local languages like Kenyan English and Swahili.

With over 500,000 school-going children in Kenya affected and less than 5% able to access speech therapists, we are addressing a massive, underserved market through scalable B2B, B2G, B2C, and nonprofit partnerships.
