UASC is a one-stop agro-hub where farmers and other value chain actors for easy and timely access to quality inputs, extension and advisory services, finance and market all year round in the rural and semi-urban areas of Nigeria. UASC comprises of an agro supermarket, training hall, warehouse, farm mechanization workshop and banking hall. Nigeria can lay solid foundation for agricultural, social and economic development when UASC is established in all the agrarian communities across the country so that any agricultural development policies are sure to reach the smallholder farmers (SHFs) who account for more than 85% of the food and fibre production in the country. UASC has the potential to lift more that 90% of the 120million poor people out of poverty in the next 5-10years, as the poor are predominantly SHFs living in the rural areas and cultivating less than 1-2 hectares of land yearly. These SHFs can quadruple their incomes by adopting good practices and farming thrice per year.
