TurtleTree

COVID-19 revealed to humanity the potential impact of not being prepared with the world now pulling together and accelerating the response to something that could have been mitigated. Food security is a global issue that needs to be addressed. TurtleTree is harnessing the power of cell-based technology to better the health of our food ecosystem through novel ingredients and sustainable production. We started in 2019 in Singapore and recently set up our R&D HQ in US.

Instead of relying on animals to obtain our foods, cells can grow at a much faster rate inside a bioreactor, giving us the macronutrients (proteins, fats and carbohydrates) in food in the matters of days instead of months or even years. The bioreactor can be placed anywhere regardless of the climate, unlike traditional cattle farming. What we are able to achieve is unlocking access to the natural ingredients found in human milk using a host of new technologies, making its benefits available for all.
