Tugende Drive to Own

Tugende provides lease to own asset financing, insurance and support for entrepreneurs in East Africa. Our first product–delivered to over 14,000 happy customers–is a lease to own package for motorcycle taxi drivers in Uganda, helping them own rather then rent their key income generating asset.  All payments are cashless and we use a combination of technology driven effeciency and high touch customer care to produce portfolio metrics stronger than commercial banks and MFIs. As we continue to scale up across Uganda and East Africa we will layer other productive asset products onto our platform of staff, systems and locations.
