Tsade was a concept of 3 professionals who in a conversation found a gap in potentially high-impact rural ideas that were not getting traction. The three founders had their start-up concepts they were testing and thought to bring them together into a studio framework that would not only build their ideas but also multiple other startups and accelerate innovation and change at the grassroots.
Profile of the founders:
* Ed (Edward) Njeru Wanjama: Founder, with 9 years of experience in product strategy in SaaS AND B2B technology. Former strategy manager for an Ottawa-based SaaS high-growth startup in supply chain sustainability. Over 10 years scouting disruptive grassroots ideas. 5 years mentoring and incubating small business ideas.
* The other two founders who wish to remain anonymous at this stage of the project have a combined 27 years of consulting for markets in Africa, NA, and Europe.
