Team We met 12 years ago during our freshman year of college at an African Student Association meeting and the rest is history. We are both from Africa (Ghana and Nigeria), so we instantly connected after being introduced by mutual friends. We continued to stay close even after moving to different states following college. As friends do, we always talked about our frustrations as it pertained to our dating experiences and the use of dating apps. After having countless conversations about how easy our dating life would be if there was an app that would conveniently match us with people that fit our cultural preferences, we decided to create one ourselves.
