The Tiny Lodge Project Off-grid eco-construction with solar and sustainable systems

Safa Haven ( the tiny lodge project )is a sustainable off-grid development venture located in the Namaqualand region of the Northern Cape, South Africa. The project focuses on building renewable-energy powered accommodation units and eco-friendly infrastructure using solar systems, water-efficient solutions and natural construction materials.

Our goal is to create a self-sufficient, low-impact rural development model that supports local job creation, responsible land use and long-term economic growth. The project includes the construction of 25 solar-powered units, sustainable water systems and nature-based guest experiences as part of a broader clean-energy and eco-construction initiative.
