TEXFAD is an organisation that transform waste banana pseudo stems into high quality handwoven textiles products and this is in attempt to solve the problem of too much waste of banana stem after harvesting the banana fruit since farmers are overwhelmed with waste and ignorant of the value addition to the banana waste psedo stems.
TEXFAD also offers non formal skill training to youth and women on the production of handwoven textiles in attempt to solve the problem of unemployment among the youth and women.
